AGOLF COURSE, A SIGNATURE NICKLAUS DESIGN

Designed by the firm Nicklaus Design, Samanah Golf will be a world-Class course covering approximately 100 hectares.

A Golf legend, Jack Niklaus had a unique perception of the game, and deeply marked and modified this sport. His skills stretched beyond the mere practice of the sport which and are now expressed in Golf course designs: in the same way as he brought golf, as a player, up to higher level, as a designer, Jack Niklaus has raised the design standards of golf courses. His firm Niklaus Design has planned and constructed more than one hundred golf courses throughout the world, including some of the most spectacular and the most famous

When designing a new golf course, the philosophy of Jack Niklaus is to adapt it to its natural environment and also to provide a course that is both demanding for very good players and nice to play on for the less experienced. Samanah Golf will be more of an intelligence and game tactics test than a pure strength test.

Private Golf

Private access to the golf course will be guaranteed by a system of playing rights available for Samanah Club property owners. Whether for families or individuals, these playing rights, limited in number will guarantee special access to the course

VILLAS “ ON THE GREEN”

Country Club Villas are built along the Golf course with a view on the green and on the Atlas. Their architecture is inspired by the Kasbahs, typical fortified villages in the oasis of Southern Morocco, made famous by the watercolours painted by Jacques Majorelle.

In Morocco out door spaces are also proper living area: terraces are made-up on the ground level, by the pool, on the floors above and the roofs to fully enjoy the views on the golf and the Atlas.

Country Club villas have therefore been very carefully designed. An interior designer, who also chose the colours and materials for the floor, walls and ornamental ponds, checked light and volumes.

SM Design agency, specialized in luxury hotels, also suggest to the buyers who wish, that they compose their own furnishing and

MATERIALS AND DETAILS

Taddelakt is made with Pure Lime from Marrakech. First Thoroughly mixed, it is then coated and smoothed. Lustred with a second paste, taddelakt becomes glossy and waterproof: It is the traditional coating used for hammans. With its polished aspect and vast range of colours, it is also greatly appreciated for interior decorating.

In Cedar, ebony or mahogany, the moucharaby is an openwork screen made of hand turned wooden sticks, carved and intertwined, leaving small octagonal or star-shaped opening. In the past, they enabled women to watch without being seen.
